Endoscopic treatment of bleeding ulcers
Also called Injection sclerotherapy, Endoscopic haemostasis
A bleeding ulcer in the stomach or duodenum can often be stopped during an upper GI endoscopy, without surgery. At Elite Gastro and Liver Clinic, Dr. Mannava uses injection therapy (sclerotherapy) and other endoscopic techniques to seal the bleeding point, followed by medicines to heal the ulcer.
